End of Internet Explorer support

For users of Internet Explorer, we have taken additional effort into the development of our website. As of today, our product portal, the editorial area as well as myheco including the attestation portal can be used without restriction in Internet Explorer 11. This will change in the near future.

Why?

The additional effort for supporting Internet Explorer increases and prevents us from using new possibilities in web development. After the leading brands on the web such as Google, WordPress, Facebook and, last but not least, Microsoft themselves decided to discontinue support for Internet Explorer, we are also announcing the end of support for the old browser.

You too will benefit from switching to a modern browser, because:

  • Current browsers are safe. Internet Explorer is known for not being protected against viruses and malicious code.
  • Current browsers are fast. Internet Explorer is one of the slowest web browsers in Internet history.
  • Current browsers are compatible. Many websites and web apps have stopped supporting Internet Explorer.

When?

We cannot give you the exact time. As we are continuously developing our website, it may happen in the next few months that we will no longer be able to provide individual functions for Internet Explorer. With the next major update of our web applications, probably in January 2021, we can expect that we will completely discontinue support for Internet Explorer.

What now?

Use an up-to-date browser so that you can continue to use our website with all the comfort functions in the future. We recommend one of the following free web browsers. The links lead to the manufacturers' official download pages:
