double-flap swing-check valveRUDF
double-flap swing-check valve intermediate body
DESCRIPTION
The double-flap swing check valves are characterized by their simple structure and their short
overall lengths (according to DIN EN 558-1, series 16).
They can be mounted directly between DIN flanges (PN 10, PN 16).
The double-flap swing check valves require a low opening pressure.
The resulting opening force deflects the wings against a spring and the weight force of the wings,
so that the medium is released. If the output pressure exceeds the input pressure, the flap closes
and seals against the medium through the O-ring.
The double-flap swing check valve are MAINTENANCE-FREE.
Installation
The direction of flow must be noted. Installation in a horizontal pipe is to be preferred.
A straight piece of pipe with a minimum of 5 times the nominal diameter should be installed in
front of and behind the double-flap swing check valve.
Mounting directly on a pump flange is not permitted.
