L = Loose Guide

F = Fixed Point

Must be able to handle axial forces, for example a pipe clamp with shaft or clip.

A = Blocking Point

Intended to prevent pipe displacements,

for example flange coupling, valve, pump, wall break-through, or concrete block

Axilock and Axiflex pipe couplings can only handle tensile forces to a

certain extent, which is why the pipelines generally need to be secured using

holding points and guides.
