45° grooved bend, type 5VIC110

45° grooved bend, type 5 >victaulic system<
Grooved 45° Pipe elbow with large radius (Design 5) - made of stainless steel
Victaulic No. 110
The system is designed for standard pipes with roller grooves or milled grooves and for
thin-walled pipes with roller grooves.
The roller grooves are not produced by removing material. The groove is cold-formed by
an upper roller that is driven into the pipe while being driven by a bottom roller driven into the pipe.
The rolled groove has round edges that reduces the potential motion of the ends of the pipe
(due to expansion, contraction, and bending) to one half of the value specified for a milled groove.
Constructions, Designation acc. to DIN 2605
Design | Radius |
---|---|
2 | r≈1,0xØA |
3 | r≈1,5xØA |
5 | r≈2,5xØA |
