flexible coupling, type 7575.

flexible coupling, type 75 >victaulic groove system<
Flexible coupling - light
Victaulic No. 75
Flexible grooved standard couplings allow controlled linear as well as angular and rotary motion
at all connection points to compensate for expansions/contractions, settling, vibrations, noises,
as well as other motions of the pipe system.
Type 75 is used when lower operating pressures are expected or the weight plays a role.
The type 75 coupling is up to 50% lighter than type 77 and is recommended for operating
pressures up to 500 psi/3450 kPa/34.5 bar depending on the size.
The housing is made of two identical halves regardless of the size.
Material specifications
Housing:
Cast iron according to ASTM A-536, Class 65-45-12.
Cast iron according to ASTM A-395, Class 65-45-15 is available on request.
Coating on the housing: Orange painted.
• Optional: Hot galvanized and others
Seal:
• Class „E“ EPDM
EPDM (colored green). Temperature range –30°F to +230°F /–34°C to +110°C.
Recommended for warm water pipes in the specified temperature range as well as for
a series diluted acids, oil-free air, and many chemicals. UL-approved according to ANSI/NSF 61
for cold (+86°F/+30°C) and warm (+180°F/+82°C) drinking water.
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR PETROLEUM.
• Class „T“ Nitrile
Nitrile (color code orange). Temperature range –20°F to +180°F/–29°C to +82°C.
Recommended for petroleum products, air with oil vapors, vegetable and mineral oils
within the specified temperature range;
but not for hot air over +140°F/+60°C or for warm water over +150°F/+66°C.
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR WARM WATER.
